Samurai kabuto helmet featuring hard shell kydex interior thick leather covering. Leather panels make up the neck guard’s laces in traditional folding armor style. Kabuto is ornamented with dragon spines and horns overlaid with crocodile leather dyed in a black and red fade. Alternative ornamenting is available by custom request.

This helmet also features a hardened leather face mask that is removable. Alternative face styles available by inquiry. The menpo face mask also has a removable shikoro throat guard with traditional lacing.

The helmet comes with interior evaded wool padding for maximum comfort and secures via a buckle under the chin with adjustable straps. A braided cord adds additional security and traditional aesthetic appeal.

This helmet is designed to be fully protective to meet combat standards. We offer a non-combat version constructed of just leather without the kydex or padded interior for larp/cosplay that is non-combative.
